Books

[The Catcher in the Rye by JD SalingerI like books and I enjoy reading, although with all the modern day distractions I don't read nearly as much as I wish I would. I like to think that the book that made me enjoy reading books was The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger. I had to read it in my literature class and I didn't enjoy it because my teacher kept telling us what would happen next. So I didn't read it then and only read it when I found it again a few years later. I thought it was great, so I also read Franny and Zooey and Nine Stories.

Meanwhile I expanded the list of my favorite authors with Kurt Vonnegut and Patricia Cornwell. Meanwhile I read all sorts of different books, preferrably those that play in the present or the future, i.e. I'm not a big fan of historic novels or fantasy literature, but I like science fiction and autobiographies and once in a while a non-fiction book and what have you.
